Driving Back To Normal
In an email sent to Daniel plus Lauren from Informa Fashion today, Informa announces it preliminary trade show schedule for 2021 in hopes the COVID19 pandemic will subside thanks to vaccines at some point, Informa wants you to mark your calendar for September 19 to 21, 2021 when Informa hopes to make a physical comeback to the Javits Center in New York’s Hudson Yards when Coterie will take place, shortly after New York Fashion Week normally wraps up.
Just to note again that this is very preliminary, anything could change pending COVID, same also holds true for MAGIC trade show out in Las Vegas, Nevada when Informa hopes to hold MAGIC August 9 to 11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center where both women’s and men’s could be held together; even as early as February 9 to 11 does Informa want MAGIC Pop Up in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center with women’s and men’s also.
Here in the short term while the COVID vaccines have yet to be distributed and restrictions are still in place, Informa will continue to cement their newfound virtual presence with Project Digital from January 19 to February 15, MICAM Americas Digital from January 19 to March 16, MAGIC Digital from February 1 to March 1, and COTERIE Digital from February 16 to March 16.
The preliminary lineup is the first step to getting back front and center to physical shows when safe to do so, and a new format starting in February that fragments MAGIC for young and trendy women, and COTERIE to uphold its women’s contemporary apparel, accessories, and curated footwear.
