Next Year Is The Year
Curve Connect during its virtual trade show back in February held numerous webinars on the state of the lingerie/ swimwear and activewear industry over the next 6 to 18 months, Curve also went 15 months into the future to forecast what the see for the Spring/ Summer 2022 season, for what hopes to be many months removed from the COVID19 pandemic, no mask, and no social distancing.
Curve off the top saw orange and terra cotta playing a major role in bras, panties, bikinis, leggings, and all alike which their patterns, texture, fabrics, and purpose relate to one another, whether it’s to be seen, or not seen.
Curve also saw customers gravitating to large chunks of nostalgia as people in lockdown for more than a year look for any type of escape from quarantine, especially the comforts phase they’ve been wearing for exactly one year now.
SS22 also celebrates customers of all kinds coming together as it’s forecasted for there to be more racial inclusion with the lingerie industry, giving minorities a chance to grow their collections and businesses in the retail market space.
There’s also brands like Adidas, Lulamon, and other large activewear brands including small businesses in the selling of their products because small businesses are in trouble presently from the pandemic, there’s also more information to be shared with the brands you buy as collections become more sustainable, and transparency will also play a bigger role.
