Longer Table Please
Lauren Conrad along with Hannah Skvarla, who created The Little Market for global female artisans, continue their “Conversation With Changemakers” virtual event today by sitting down with Hollywood elite, Jessica Alba, who founded her company, Honest, to address “Investing In Women”, making more room at the table to support female entrepreneurs.
Both The Little Market and Honest have grown their companies in their own right, having tremendous support from consumers, Lauren, Hannah, and Jessica concur that female entrepreneurs need more support for their small businesses to grow to their highest potential, only 1 percent of small businesses started by women are supported by loans, that’s even worse for black women.
Awareness must be made to provide more opportunities to women entrepreneurs who need all the help they can get right now just to survive in the COVID19 pandemic, every small business imaginable is going into debt just to keep the lights on and pay their employees, women also need more resources and guidance at their disposal just to even promote their business, plus banks need to allow more room in their lending for a startup created by a woman.
