All Dreams Welcome

Tonight, the Oscars are all about a million dreams coming true after countless years of blood, sweat, and tears to make one’s Academy Award moment happen, and this is played out with a million other professions too, but all the dreams have a beginning, and it starts in places like Washington Heights like it did for Lin-Manuel Miranda, who grew up in Washington Heights, and originally created the Broadway hit, “In The Heights”, which has a million Dreams running into each other, finally now playing out on the silver screen, and debuting a new trailer tonight before its June 11, 2021 release.

Right before “In The Heights” revealed its new trailer for the Oscars, Lin-Manuel Miranda told a short story that according to his parents, the first movie he ever saw was “Kramer Versus Kramer”, when he was 6 weeks old, but at least he was the only baby in the theater who was not crying, which is why “Kramer Versus Kramer” is special to him, leading Lin to proudly introduce his trailer for “In The Heights” out June 11.
