
The United States Department Of Labor today broke yet another record in reporting unemployment figure in the COVID-19 pandemic, a new low figure of 498,000 as states continue lifting COVID19 restrictions, 92,000 less than last week’s figure of 553,000 which revised 37,000 from 553,000 to 590,000.
And once again, the insured unemployment rate stayed unchanged, and unrevised at 2.6 percent, signaling vaccines have been given, and the country is ready to get back to true normal, the insured unemployment figure however increased by 37,000 to 3,690,000 from last week’s 3,660,000 figure revising down by 7,000 from 3,653,000.
