
The United States Department Of Labor today continues its race to the bottom with unemployment claims filed each week with COVID19 as the nation heads back to normal following COVID vaccines, yet another new low for the week was recorded at 473,000, eradicating the previous low of 498,000 just last week which revised up 9,000 to 507,000.
The insured unemployment rate continues its slow descent below 3 percent, staying at 2.6 percent with last week’s 2.6 percent figure revising up 0.1 percent to 2.7 percent, and the insured unemployment figure landed at 3,655,000, decreasing 45,000 from last week’s 3,700,000 revising up by 10,000 from 3,690,000.
