
The United States Department Of Labor crowned another all time low today with the amount of unemployment claims filed in the COVID19 pandemic, this week’s initial numbers came in at 364,000 as Summer’s return proves to be full of work, it’s the lowest figure close to the March 14, 2020 figure of 256,000 before COVID19, and 51,000 less from last week’s 415,000 that revised up 4,000 from 411,000.
The insured unemployment rate stayed unchanged from last week’s 2.5 percent which got revised up 0.1 percent from 2.4 percent, but the insured unemployment figure went up 56,000 to 3,469,000 from last week’s 3,390,000 which revised up 23,000 from 3,413,000.
