The Evolution Concept lingerie tradeshow was held February 4-6, 2023 in NYC. The show featured many returning brands and lots of new designers. New trends included wireless cup bras, more lacey styles and the newness came in lingerie to have sex in. I interviewed three designers that I feel had a fresh perspective on lingerie. This bra was designed differently than what is already on the market. The owner got breast cancer and couldn’t find a bra that fit right after her surgery and designed this because of it. If you had breast cancer and need a bra for a masectomy or are flat chested then this is perfect for you because it has a Foob that is removable (foam insert) as seen in upper left-hand corner of photo. Other features of this line of bras are underwire free and a supportive thick band at bottom of bra (gives support without an underwire up to a DD cup), cross straps and 4 rows of hook and eyes to make it not ride up on your back. Some bras have hook and eyes in the front that are the answer for an elderly woman who has trouble putting a bra on by herself and perfect for post-surgical breast surgery swelling because you can adjust it easily. Luxury Lingerie too beautiful to hide is the designer’s slogan and it’s totally true. The collection is made in Los Angeles and NYC for the highest quality craftmanship. The words to describe these pretty items are elegant, classy, timeless and ladylike. Chantily Lace which is handmade in France is used on silk charmeuse in prints such as cheetah/leopard, orange/blue florals and solids. Another lovely fabric is burnout velvet from Italy. Genuine Swaorski crystals are adorned on many styles. Styles are pajama pants with matching camisoles long or short slip gowns and all pieces have matching robes/long cardigans. One of the standout sets was an ostrich feather robe trimmed robe just like ZaZa Gabor wore in the 1960’s TV show, Green Acres that comes in the colors of ruby, onyx and pearl. This collection is for the sexually confidant woman that knows what she wants and enjoys sex. Lingerie meant for you and your sex partner to have fun in. You will be very seductive while wearing these pieces. I could definitely see the girls with the perfect tits and bodies at the strip clubs that I go to in NYC wearing these items. It’s an all-black line of mesh, fishnet, lace and strappy lingerie. Styles include garters, suspenders, bustier and corsets. One of the interesting pieces is a garter-knicker combo that goes around the leg to and to your waist. It’s totally adjustable at the waist and legs to make it stay up and not fall down. In the upper right corner, you see a bra with no cups and that is great for a woman with big perfect boobs that are either natural or man-made. Made in Melbourne, Australia.
