Style Without Struggle

Walking into the trade show floor of Coterie New York that DANIEL PLUS LAUREN has been doing for the last 13 years, you are enlightened by the backstory you learn from the brands you see. Never has their been a moment of regret when you see how the stories unfold in making these high quality clothes at Coterie, Wednesday was certainly no different when DANIEL PLUS LAUREN was invited to visit The Normal Brand, whose roots are anything but normal.

The Normal Brand started in March 2015 by someone who did not already have a background in fashion, they just simply loved fashion, and their grandparents taught them how important it is to dress well. Starting out with just a men’s line before adding women’s, and opening its first retail store in 2019, The Normal Brand that’s family owned and free of outside funding has a fall and winter 2024-25 line is very comfortable knits with pure meso fabrics in many silhouettes and varying weights. The Normal Brand also prides itself with novelty and unique sweaters, plus woven and knits adding tremendous comfort to their stylish collection.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Normal Brand collaborated with country singer, Luke Combs, to create a hat that raised $125,000 to support small businesses affected by lockdowns taking place for more than a year in 2020 and 2021. The Normal Brand continues to stress the importance of style with comfort for both men and women as it adds new items to not only AW 24, but also its current spring and summer 2024 (SS24) collection, where a soft feel of comfort is extremely important to go with your sense of style, a keen skill you must be taught at a very young age.
