NO NEW TEST NEEDED

Olivia Rodrigo today celebrated 5 years that she not only became an official music artist, but the release of her single, “Driver’s License”. Yes, it was on Friday, January 8, 2021 that Olivia took the music industry by storm with this hot viral single. Immediately, Olivia began her solo music career at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Olivia had a couple other singles follow that charted in the exact same way as “Driver’s License”. Followed by the release of Olivia Rodrigo’s first ever album, “Sour”, which charted the rest of how music was defined in 2021.

“Driver’s License” on its 5th anniversary brought on 2 sides of a single where side A has David Byrne covering Olivia’s groundbreaking single. Side B invites Olivia and David doing a cover of “Burning Down The House” at the Governor’s Ball. Olivia considers David a true legend, also confessing that she cried when she heard David’s cover of “Driver’s License”. Though 5 years feels like a long time ago, Olivia Rodrigo still remembers the life-changing experience like it happened yesterday. Celebrate Olivia’s 5 year anniversary of “Driver’s License” by pre-order your copy now to be shipped out on April 3.
