IMG, the owner and operator of Australian Fashion Week presented by Pandora, today announced the complete lineup of runway shows and programming for the 2024 event. Australian Fashion Week will take place 13 – 17 May in Sydney. Through Australian Fashion Week, IMG supports designers in various capacities, including runway shows and fashion presentations, content, and programming. The schedule is now available at australianfashionweek.com/schedule.

“The 2024 schedule features designer runway shows, curated conversations, consumer activations and special events taking place at Carriageworks in Sydney and online at australianfashionweek.com, the digital destination for Australian Fashion Week,” said Natalie Xenita, Vice President-Managing Director of IMG Fashion Events and Properties, Asia-Pacific. “We’re proud to celebrate designers and fashion industry leaders during the most anticipated fashion event in the Asia-Pacific.”

Designer runway shows and presentations include Acler, Albus Lumen, Alix Higgins, all is a gentle spring, ANNA QUAN, ASIYAM, Beare Park, Blanca, Carla Zampatti, David Jones Indigenous Fashion Projects Runway, EM on Holiday, FDS: The Innovators, INJURY, Iordanes Spyridon Gogos, Karla Špetić, Liandra, madre natura, MASTANI, Michael Lo Sordo, Nicol & Ford, P.E Nation, Romance Was Born, Rory William Docherty, Speed, Third Form, Verner, Viktoria & Woods and Wackie Ju. Next Gen presented by DHL, Australian Fashion Week’s leading emerging designer showcase, will feature designers Amy Lawrance, Emily Watson, House of Campbell and Potirakis.

Australian Fashion Week’s programming slate features a curated lineup of thought-provoking panel discussions covering the most buzzworthy topics of the season. The Talks, presented by Glenfiddich, will kick off with a reception for industry guests and designers on the opening day of Australian Fashion Week. Panels will explore topics ranging from ‘Go West: The Rise of Western Sydney Culture’ with designer Chris Potirakis and musician Esky Escandor; Made for Music’, featuring designer Alix Higgins and stylist Jana Bartolo; ‘First and Forefront: Changemakers 2024’; and New and Next: New Directions in Australian Fashion’, featuring Le Bon Marche consultant Nathalie Constanty and Moda Operandi Buyer Kelsey Lyle.

Additional conversations and special events will include a Sustainability Symposium, presented by City of Sydney, featuring Delta Global founder Robert Lockyer. Women With Drive, presented by Porsche, Australian Fashion Week’s intimate conversations with female thought leaders in Australian fashion, will feature Carla Zampatti Creative Director Karlie Ungar, Albus Lumen Founder and Creative Director Marina Afonina and Liandra Founder and Creative Director Liandra Gaykamangu.

Australian Fashion Week is an IMG event supported by the New South Wales Government through its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW.
