The theme was Sleeping Beauties.
Before you get stoked on the possible connection to Disney or the Brother’s Grimm, the OG fairytale for Disney’s articulation, the theme inspiration was the concept of clothing that can’t be worn again.
But according to TikTok, the event’s sponsor, and let’s be honest, the real fashion authority… the theme in its simplest explanation is about fleeing beauty. The sub-theme of the gala was “The Garden of Time” so many people rocked up in floral pieces.

We’re doing an in-depth look at Cardi here as a shoutout to D’Orazio PR, the celebrity PR firm that frequently outfits T.Swift. Among her emerald decked drip, Cardi donned an A.JAFFE emerald diamond ring. A.JAFFE is high end custom jewelry brand that’s been crafting since 1892 that was started in New York City. A.JAFFE is regularly worn by celebrities such as J.Lo, Olivia Rodrigo, Kendall Jenner, and Megan Fox to name a few. We obviously don’t need to intro Cardi.
Cardi was assisted by POSH McKoy, celebrity stylist, who’s styled Cardi several times. He’s been featured in Entertainment Weekly and has styled other artists like Lil Nas X and Iggy Azalea.
But if you’ve really been asleep for the past 10 years…you’ll find Cardi on all major streaming platforms. That’s not even mentioning your TikTok reels and IG feed and pretty much every major pop news outlet. She’s there probably even right now, not even related to her Met Gala entrance.
