HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED…
The plot thickens tonight as Osswald NYC on Mulberry Street in Manhattan here in New York City releases the much-anticipated second act of Curatrix. If you thought act one had some interesting twist, you haven’t seen all that will be revealed with Curatrix’s 2nd era. You definitely will have the crime, but how did it happen, what’s the motivation, and who’s snooping around. Yes, these perfumes have a definite purpose to them, but where do you see yourself in this murderous perfume plot?

Curatrix Act II serves a purpose, it sets up why the crime happed, going back to Act I with Fetale where the series ends in this film noir fragrance. But first, let’s go to the “Flashback” where mandarin, bright orange flower water, fresh jasmine, and silky vanilla takes you back to happy citrus times where the money’s flowing. But when the money runs out, things quickly get dark, leading to a “Heist where cherry, plum, and amber offer a gateway to keep the good times going at a high price. Once the crime is committed, here comes the “Private Eye” to ruin everything, snooping around in peppered cardamom, leathered cypress, and slinky sandalwood which in the end is a relief, because it brings clarity to why the crime took place.

There’s no Act II if there’s no Act I, setting in motion what we “Foreshadow” in musk, tobacco, and vanilla of how the plot will unfold. Everybody loves to hate the “Antihero”, his aged cognac, dark rum, and preserve praline confuse him to do the right thing for the wrong reasons. And finally, the femme emerges fearless, it’s the “Fatale” of spiced ginger, sweet honey, and refined tobacco in sultry sandalwood that turns the fearless woman into an outgoing femme who breaks hearts and doesn’t think twice about the crime.

In-between crime and clarity, we are definitely ready for Act III launching this September with Curatrix. We’ll definitely get a sense of more crimes unfolding long after the detective with his “Private Eye” fragrance solves what he thinks is the end of the crime when it’s not. Act II now and Act I before it each has its own scents of perfume that tell an intriguing story. DANIEL PLUS LAUREN lands on the highs of citrus with “Flashback” before feeling delightfully peppered with being a “Private Eye”. Ultimately, Curatrix Act II comes down to being the female curator, admiring beauty and feeling beautiful, connecting to those in the world who have a flair for the dramatic.
