This is a tradeshow for buyers and press that is all about sexy and glamorous lingerie. As I walked the show, I saw lacy and racy panties, bras, corsets, and sleepwear. Not a show for basic fiberfill bras in beige, black and white. Most of the brands are luxury with an emphasis on using lots of lace and silk satin. A collection of silk charmeuse tap shorts, camisoles, bralettes, bandeau and thongs that are elegant, timeless and classic. Colors are black, jade, opal, and turquoise. The quality of this collection is outstanding since it’s made in the NYC Garment District. Some luxurious trims used are brass hardware that is handmade and 14 kart gold plated chains that are used as straps. The concept of the collection is affordable luxury priced below $100.00 for each piece. The collection is meant to be your everyday bra and panty sets and not saved for special occasions. Luxury lingerie meant to be worn as under or outwear to be seen. The brand is based in Australia but made in Latvia. Kay started the brand to get in touch with her sexuality so she designed lacy lingerie to make woman feel good. Fabrics used are silk satin with embroidery done in Switzerland so you know it’s of the highest quality. Even the hardware is custom made in gold plate. Bra styles are underwire, soft cup, demi, nursing and longline with sizes 28B – 38D; priced $320.00 – $390.00. Matching panty styles are thong, brief and a high waisted brief with detachable garters. Sizes XS – XXL and priced $115.00 – $200.00. Colors come in black, navy and forest green for panties, bras and bodysuits. Some other pieces are bodysuits and stockings in 100% nylon with a gold back seam. You might ask why go backwards with no Lycra in the stockings but these are ultra sheer hosiery that make the leg appear slimmer. On another note, I’m starting my own bra shopping service in the NYC metro area because 90% of women wear the wrong size bra. I have a certificate in bra fitting from Eveden showing that I am an accredited fitter. What I am offering is a service to take you shopping in brick and motor stores for the right bra for your body. I will measure you, pick out styles of bras that I know will fit you the best because I know what brand fits which type of body perfectly. You will go in the fitting room and when the bra is on, I will be right outside your fitting room curtain or door. At that point I will check out how the bra fits and give you my professional opinion. If you need more styles or sizes than I will go out onto the sales floor and grab them for you to try on. In the end this will save you from wasting money on something that is uncomfortable to wear so you end up getting rid of it. No more spending days guessing what size to buy online, only to get the bras and have to return them because they don’t fit. I do swimsuit fitting also. All size females are welcome to shop with me.
