FLASHDANCE LEG CRUELTY FREE

When we think of nylon, we automatically think of the sexiness of leggings overlapping the 20 percent spandex ratio needed to produce eye candy. But there’s one thing we never thought about nylon, we never thought of it as it coming from an animal. So to speak, we didn’t even think of the possibility that nylon could be produced without the use of animal. So on Tuesday, Premiere Vision at Hudson Square here in New York City opened the doors to such fabric being created without animal, we went right into the chemistry lab to see how to achieve such wonder that is Shinsung J&T.

Since 1997, Shinsung J&T has taken a solemn oath in being ethically responsible about manufacturing and producing nylon textiles free of fossil fuels. Shinsung J&T’s own nylon is eco-friendly OKEO-TEX 100 nylon that’s sustainable to not produce the common apparel of activewear, but produce nylon materials for handbags. DANIEL PLUS LAUREN learned and felt that this cruelty-free nylon is a heavier and sturdy texture than typical animal nylon, it’s proven durable for high to low priced handbags. DPL also witnessed this eco-friendly nylon be used on other accessories such as flags of other nations, as well as more free-flowing nylon fabric with more detail and also outerwear.

If you’re a continuous learner like DPL is with the stories they write, you’ll learn that nylon has many traits other than its sexiness in leggings and activewear. Nylon expands out to a sustainable fabric thanks to Shinsung J&T as it’s used largely for accessories such as handbags which Shinsung J&T manufactures. From our own experience, nylon can be found in such items like bed sheets or blankets if the fabric is used for outer lining to be compatible with inner lining. Even some jackets we’ve seen in the past and present could use nylon for its outer lining for mainly the appeal and style of it.

Chemical-based cruelty-free nylon has proven to be stronger because it’s produced in a manmade lab where the nylon can be any shape and strength you need it to be. The huge positive about not taking nylon off the rack from the animal is you avoid acceptance as is, organic nylon so to speak can be made however you want. One could even go as far as to create wearable leggings made of nylon and spandex right from the lab. A win for all lover of leggings alike who get to enjoy active or leisure without the guilt of killing an animal to enjoy it. A huge start comes from Shinsung J&T in their stronghold lab-based nylon that’s made to be strong for handbag lining, with so much optimistic options involved.
