A STYLISH MAN

Men’s fashion continues to evolve according to their needs and desires, it’s no different from women’s fashion as consumers settle in or level up their buying habits. Today off lower Manhattan’s Varnick Street here in New York City, there’s a curated space that is PROJECT Presents, a once a year intimate look at unique collections that shape and evolve menswear. DANIEL PLUS LAUREN came in on 3 Japanese brands under one roof each serving a purpose for denim, jewelry, and socks. Ordinary Fits serves up denim apparel, while North Works creates sustainable jewelry, and Fab.It is out to make socks super useful by medicine and sports.

ORDINARY FITS

Celebrating the meaning of casual dress up aside from stylish sweats even, Ordinary Fits specializes in Japanese denim with washes of button down tops and bottoms. Colors ranging from midnight blue, navy blue, dark blue, and light blue, the fabric of this denim is incredibly strong. Standing out in this Japanese denim is corduroy found in brown, black, and beige, top and bottom corduroy are tremendously stylish and uplift your daily or occasional apparel. Ordinary Fits also specializes in stylish t-shirts mainly in light solid colors with statement prints, and even long-sleeve warm fabric options.

NORTH WORKS

The use of precious metals have proven to be a sustainable source when producing jewelry that’s not only stylish, but also makes a statement just by its presence. North Works true speciality involves collecting vintage coins and dead stock beads to make a jewelry collection you know that’s going to not tarnish in any shape or form. Vintage coins such as old silver dollars, rare dimes, quarters, and nickels make a stand alone statement as their representation of old money are the key item that makes silver number one. Dead stock from previous items have become a cool source to produce new items of all kinds, dead stock from beads for bracelets and necklaces in all colors create beautiful items for North Works.

FAB.IT

Maybe it’s the cold weather, or maybe it’s the comfort of having something warm and dry on your feet in that moment or all throughout the day. Yes, we are addicted, if not needy, but if anything, socks are super essential in our daily wardrobe for both style and health purposes. Fab.It, a cross between fabulous and habit, uses medical and sports technology to design their one-of-a-kind socks to create function. Fab.It is all about the ribbing, using the same technology as foot care socks for diabetic patients. They’re gentle, stress-free soft knit, they don’t constrict, they stay in place, and they don’t leave a mark on your skin if worn for a long time. Plus, Fab.It comes in an array of solid colors, they’re organic cotton, natural dye, and styled in vintage athletic sock style.

CONCLUSION

We got a family of Japanese brands under one aegis that brings you a triple threat serving their purpose, one to be stylish, making a statement, and to meet a need. Usefulness is good in any kind of form, but to be also stylish takes your brand and company to a whole another level, lifting you outside of boring and into a wealthy orbit. PROJECT Presents NY here in 2025 finally settles on all it wants and needs, it’s definitely style with a minimal but huge not of essentialness. Now that we know the outcome of the world, and can only hope there’s no more uncertainty, let’s get back to being maximal with needed essentials, and being maximal with style.
