On the last day of NYFW which was February 7, 2025, designer Evan Hirsch showed his Fall/Winter 2025 presentation. Since the designer has a love of painting since he was a child that he incorporated vibrant colors, distinct hues and ombres into his fabrics. The collection was all about what to wear to formal evening events. Some of the ways he used ombre were in chiffon and satin fabric. Other fabrics used were sequins, lurex, brocade and beaded velvet. Styles were one shoulder, bustier top, corset top and they all had long flowing skirts. Colors were tones of reds, purples, and blacks. Other gowns and short cocktail dressed had layers of reds and blacks mixed together. Since nighttime it’s chilly to wear bare shoulders, Evan created matching long capes that matched the gown to wear with together to make a grand entrance to the party. He accented many dresses with handmade big beautiful flowers that matched the fabric of the gown. Some flowers had jeweled centers and were placed at the middle of the waist on the dress. Some other accents to the gowns and dresses were the use of feathers. He is known for his transformation gowns. All of his dresses and gowns are custom made to measure just for you in NYC. To order what you see in the photos please contact him thru his website. www.evan-hirsch.com.

All the headpieces and fascinators were custom made by hand to match Evan’s dresses and gowns by Binata Millinery in Queens, NY. www.binatamillinery.com.
All the lovely fine jewelry with diamonds that was shown on the models is lab grown and ethnically sourced by Miadonna. www.miadonna.com.

What I loved so much was the nails matching the clothes. The press on nails were from Lechat which is made in California. To find out more about the nails www.lechatnails.com.

The presentation was held at Frierichs Pontone Art Gallery at 273 Church Street in Tribecca. The paintings on the walls are by Choi Soowhat and the exhibition is called Promenades in Light and is at the gallery thru March 22, 2025. The gallery is open to the public 10 – 6 daily.
