MARCH 21ST, 2025 (NEW YORK CITY)
When fashionreverie.com Founder and Editor-in-Chief, William Gooch, announced the launch of “Fashion Reverie Talks,” the bi-weekly video podcast compliment to the main site’s encyclopedic volumes of timely, insightful content in August of 2020, he wasn’t certain what the future held in store. The majority of the globe was still in nearly complete COVID-19 lock-down mode, household name companies were failing by the day, and nobody could accurately predict what tomorrow would be. The future of every conceivable industry was either in serious question, or was in the process of being reinvented, rethought, or re-imagined. He knew he had to do something, and “Fashion Reverie Talks” was born.
Now, coming up on 5 years later, William and his team have just launched the 6th season of “Fashion Reverie Talks” and every indication is that the future is indeed a bright one. Numbers don’t lie. In this case, the podcast series is coming off of its best season to date, where each episode routinely sets viewership records over the past segment week after week. It seems that the much sought after journalistic tipping point – that ever-elusive point where a program’s content is immediately watched, immediately adopted, and immediately talked about around the water cooler – has finally been reached.

The goal for season 6, according to Executive Producer William Gooch, is to continue to deliver the last two week’s most newsworthy topics in a quick paced, reporter-like format, much like the legendary evening news of years past, before breaking out into one or two more in-depth pieces that normally feature a guest interview. Each of these segments are led by the writer of the original piece on the site.
“We want Fashion Reverie Talks to support the content on the site,” says William Gooch, “But the segment on the podcast goes deeper, adding a bit more of a personal perspective from the writer who created the story. It gives our viewers a more personal connection to the content … they gain the ‘feeling’ of the story, not just the facts.”
When asked what the goal of season 6 is, William immediately responded with, “To surprise the viewers. Not just tell them the same thing they’ve already read, but to give them a reason to not only to fashionreverie.com, but to tune in every other week to get the story behind the story and be surprised by our guests on each episode.”
Guests for this season have already included Jack Sivan, designer of his eponymous collection Sivan, as well as Isaiah Isaac, former designer for J.Crew, Zara, and Tommy Hilfiger and current men’s fashion writer for WGSN, the leading site where the world turns for fashion forecasting.
Joining the cast of regulars on the site, which includes Tijana Ibrahimovic, founding cast member, a noted fashion commentator and “Pop-Style TV” host. This season there is also Kristopher Frazier, who has decades of experience covering fashion from the front rows of New York Fashion Week and beyond. Kristopher is assuming the co-host role while founding cast member Cicily Daniels is on hiatus appearing on Broadway in the revival of Gilbert & Sullivan’s “Pirates of Penzance.”
