LET’S SLAY TOGETHER
Taylor Swift today at exactly 12:12 a.m. EDT (New York Time) delivered the joyful news that she’s got brand-new music coming out, the album is called “The Life Of A Showgirl”. TS’s 12th album to be exact. Taylor did not unveil alone as Taylor relied on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, with brother, Jason Kelce, on their “New Heights” podcast. Taylor had a lockbox with her where her album was stored safe, after a few words, Taylor opened up the lockbox, and brought out “The Life Of A Showgirl”. The cover was obviously blurred, and Jason loud and proud in the background screamed with joy.
Taylor Swift has designated orange as “The Life Of A Showgirl” colors which all the media, and the Empire State Building here in NYC lit up for. You can also pre-pre-order now a special orange vinyl edition right now before all supplies sell out, which will ship out on October 13. No word yet on when “The Life Of A Showgirl” album will be released, but experts say it could be sometime after vinyl edits get shipped.
Also a prelude to “The Life Of A Showgirl” are a curated playlist found now on Spotify, showing off all prior songs by Swedish music producer, Max Martin. Notably, Jack Antonoff, who previously produced Taylor’s 2 last albums, “Midnights” (which won many Grammys), and “The Tortured Poets Society”, were not included in the Spotify playlist. It’s also said that Jack Antonoff is not involved with “The Life Of A Showgirl”, as Taylor seemingly desires to bring back fun pop in this era.
With all the orange showed off by “Taylor Nation”, there’s also word that Taylor Swift’s dear BFF, Sabrina Carpenter, will definitely be on Taylor’s 12th studio album.
Taylor’s twelfth album marks a tremendous milestone for Taylor Swift. This is truly the first album released 2 and a half months after Taylor reclaimed her original masters by buying them all back from Shamrock Holdings. Taylor is obviously above the re-record era which spawned “Taylor’s Version” of all her original music. And most of all, the re-do era launched the biggest era that no one could ever match, “The Eras Tour”, bringing tremendous economic wealth to every city Taylor stopped in.
