Emanuel New York last Friday evening held a launch party for Ghida Perfumes who unveiled to the world their new scent line, The Lebanon Collection.
A lineup of who’s who attended this extraordinary gathering right here in midtown Manhattan, which included Guillermo D Castillo, Piet Sinthuchai, Aries Morales, Jaae, and Un-Average Joe. Ghida C. Minkara is a passionate world traveler and fragrance creator with a talent for crafting scents that tell unique stories. Her debut line, The Lebanon Collection, draws inspiration from her lifelong love of scent and the rich, evocative notes of Lebanon.

With a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty and the joy of fragrance, Ghida’s creations are pure, honest, and timeless. One part of Ghida’s Lebanon starts out with “La Magie de Beirut” inspired by the high energy of the nightlife in Beirut, “La Magie de Beirut” celebrates the love of life with a luminous rose woody blend. A floral complex that is both rich and sensual. Top Notes: Bergamot EO, Cassis and Lychee. Middle Note: Rose, Iris Concrete, Peony, Violet and Jasmine. Base Notes: Cedarwood, Santal, Ambrox, Tonka Beans and Vanilla.

Another piece of Lebanon that Ghida holds dear to her heart are “Les Délices de Tripoli” which was inspired by a delicious blend of mandarin, lemon and orange that represents the city’s signature desserts. Inspired by sweet memories of love, family and citrus gourmand desserts. Top Notes: Lemon Sfuma EO, Pistachio Accord, Ginger EO, and Mandarine Sfuma. Middle Notes: Kunaffa Accord, Jasmine Sambac India Absolute, Lilyflore and Benzoin Siam Res. Base Notes: Milk Accord, Sandalwood Australia Oil, Cedarwood Virginia EO and Ambrox.

Ghida goes back to her younger days with “Les Mémoires de Sidon”. A glimpse into the world of young Ghida and her spirit amongst her father’s orange grove in Sidon. A heady fragrance of opulent orange flower white floralcy with sparkling green notes, an innocent scent with orange blossom, musk and thyme. Top Notes: Italian Bergamot, Orange Bigarade EO and Pink Pepper SFE. Middle Notes: Orange Flower Petals, Jasmine Sambac and Tuberose Absolute. Base Notes: Milk Accord, Sandalwood Australia Oil, Cedarwood Virginia EO and Ambrox.

There’s beautiful beaches many of us haven’t been too yet, one part of Ghida and her beach experience is “La Joie de Byblos”. A fragrance inspired by the beaches of Byblos, the scent of fresh air and the smell of the sea. Transporting you to a time of peaceful memories and total relaxation.
