PARTY LIKE IT’S 1980

Negris LeBrum made a big comeback tonight here at New York Fashion Week after taking a hiatus to bring us a retro Spring and Summer 2026 collection. Negris found a little inspiration when sitting home at dinner in Houston, Texas one night in the world of basic cable. Negris was watching a CNN documentary one night about the 1980’s, seeing Cindy Lauper wear green and reminisce about the decade, and was wearing green. While Cindy Lauper effortlessly not tried to promote sustainability, Negris LeBrum decided he was going to have fun with SS26.

Negris LeBrum decided to go all green with an assortment of green hues coming in long gowns, skirts, top, and little black dresses green edit. DPL was loving to alligator green on LBD accompanied by head scarves as overindulge played a huge role that green is good. Deeper dives into green got underway with gold-embellished sequin to compliments striped blue-green that represented the masculinity of women. Sexier darker tones of green remnant of intimate, activewear, lingerie, and dance studio moments now come into play with sleeveless LBD’s and pantsuits.

DANIEL PLUS LAUREN’s favorite combination as of late has been black and green where it’s possible in any shape or form that Negris LeBrum started a revolution. That’s at least what Negris LeBrum likes to think as Negris had too much fun working on this collection all because of a decade filled with unbelievable style revolutions and breakthroughs. Right now in this uncertain time, we surely need tremendous pushback against the so-called mundane era we’re currently living in. So it’s just too much fun to sandbag the 1990’s and turn back the clock to January 1, 1980 to take us into a decade where all style barriers were broken.
