IF YOU’RE DOWN, SPRAY

Taylor Swift as of 8 a.m. New York time has unveiled the “Opalite” music video on Apple Music and Spotify, going for nostalgic 90’s feels in this ultimately uplifting theme only TS can truly do. Taylor got the idea for the “Opalite” MV. concept from being on “The Graham Norton Show” that airs in the U.K. on the BBC. “Opalite” is a magic bottle of spray that transforms your depressing life into something wonderful, where Taylor and lovely man seeking love like Taylor meet.

Taylor Swift found herself in a room filled with all her idols from afar with “The Graham Norton Show”. Those joining Taylor’s “Opalite” vision includes Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Smith, and Lewis Capadli. Also joining Taylor for this fun “Opalite” MV that felt like an exciting school project seeking out cool 90’s stuff were a few familiar faces from “The Eras Tour”. Plus, Rodrigo Prieto, a prestigious cinematographer who’s Taylor has always worked with, and more than grateful with Rodrigo once again.

For sure, Taylor Swift masterfully created a single and music video that’s fun to say the least, but brilliantly seeks Taylor’s telling of the world. Taylor also gives hope to the future of music videos where if a few artists can match their song with film, then it’s loved. Taylor Swift also pays homage to MTV, with its iconic logo on an old TV screen as an artist on screen does a mock episode of “Unplugged”.
