The store EMANUEL had a big celebration party for being in business for one year on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 6 – 10 PM. The store is owned by Couture Fashion Designer Victor De Sousaza (on the right) and fragrance expert Dustin Lujan (on the left) who are shown in the photo above. Guest were treated to Champaign and specialty cocktails made in front of you by Cipriani with a big anniversary cake at the end of the party. Everyone came dressed up in evening clothes and mingled with each other. 

I’m posing with some of the staff members above. The men have on couture spring jackets that were designed by Victor De Sousza and are available for purchase or you can have them made to your measurements. Don’t the guys look fantastic in these jackets and the fit is impeccable. Emanuel NY has a very attentive and knowledgeable staff to help you with picking out the right fragrance or shopping for clothes. 

This is the place to go to if your looking for fragrances. Over 100 specialty fragrances to try on. You can either try the fragrances by spraying them on paper sticks or right on your wrist. Many guests enjoyed trying on the vast assortment of fragrances with their friends as you can see in my photo. Home fragrances are also carried in the store so your home can smell just as wonderful as you. Priced at around $200.00 – $400.00 for luxury scents that you wound not find at the department stores. Dustin has personally picked out every scent in the store. Many days he is in the store to assist you with your selection. I don’t think it would be easy to pick out a fragrance online that you have never tested before. By shopping at this store, you will not make a mistake in your selection and will be very happy wearing your new scent. 

Victor has expanded on the fashion in the store by adding ready to wear that caters toward everyone. Since I’m a fabric buyer that attends fabric shows, I can tell you he uses the highest quality cotton knit for tee shirts and a heavy sweatshirt fabric. These fabrics won’t pile like ordinary tee shirt and sweatshirt fabrics and will last you for years. Denim is the hottest trend right now and Victor is making baggy jeans with embellished jean jackets out of a heavy weight denim that will hold its shape for years to come. These fashions are gender neutral and yes, you can try them on in the store. 

Everything is made right in USA also with much of it made is in NYC. Priced $150.00 and up. This luxury denim, tee shirt and sweatshirt collection is better than anything you will find at any store in NYC. 

Couture is what Victor is known for. He started with women but now is offering men tailored clothing as well. I’ve been going to his NYFW shows for many years and his fashions are always ladylike, feminine and classic. Shown in my photo are some peplum suits for ladies that are of tapestry fabric that will hold their shape for years to come and won’t wrinkle so you will always look fresh at the event you are attending. The white lacey suit is perfect if your getting married and don’t want to wear a gown. He uses the best European fabrics and makes everything in his atelier in the back of the store. You will have to be measured by Victor and go in for a few fittings for these clothes but these are forever clothes. Please contact the store to make an appointment for these fashions. The store EMANUEL NEW YORK is open to the public; you can just walk in and shop.  No appointment is needed except to order couture.
