A LIVE TRIPLE THREAT

Olivia Rodrigo made history tonight over at NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Center pulling double-duty with 3rd go around as musical guest, and hosting for the first time on “Saturday Night Live”. Along with a cold open sketch right from the White House Press Room with Pete Hegseth insulting the press while sipping a vase of scotch, Olivia graced 8H in strapless pink dress with bow tie directly across the chest. Olivia quickly reminisced about her life journey along with singing a mock version of “Driver’s License” hooking fake ID’s.

Kicking off the scripted fare was “Edge Of Destiny” has Olivia mocking a 1983 Pluto TV show where she gets into conflict with everyone she meets, and pushes everyone down the stairs. Tramp is the buzz word driving Olivia to everyone’s death in red jumpsuit and golden wig. Olivia thought she had the last laugh, but Kenan had other plans.

“SNL’s Midnight Matinee” where Olivia sings in her teen-type bedroom only to be a glass-encased specimen for bugs. Olivia in red crop top, blue jeans, and cherry decorated sweater loves her bedroom.

Shop TV features Olivia (aka Daisy Rae Rutledge) selling a cake made with love, literally in the fudge cake as the cake represents a bunghole (starfish). Every sexual undertone and obvious sex act came to life with Olivia in lovely pink inspo.

In a classic battle of the exes, Olivia finds herself eating alone at a birthday party getting over heartbreak, and her ex across the table. Olivia concocts a plan for her table guy companion to pretend to be her date. And there’s where the lovey-dovey competition across the tables begin. With Deborah Harry aka Blondie introducing Olivia to sing, Olivia finally performed “drop dead” beautifully going line green and pink in alignment with the fashion from her music video. In what’s one of the first live performances for “drop dead”, this is already a touching experience live as it is taped.

Olivia does live again sneaking back into her home in blond wig and tweed red and off-white dress. Olivia sings to her rapping white husband about her whereabouts who ends up being the cheating husband in the end. And yes, Olivia also cheated, a million times.

With Connor Storrie to intro, Olivia gets into the sad part of “You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl In Love” with another powerful musical performance about the man she loves. However, her man is not around to appreciate how much she loves him. It hurts too much for good love to slip away, so Olivia has the power to take her love away. This time in long pink semi-ruffle dress short-sleeved. The song is called “Begged”.

Olivia rides in the backseat of a car with her BFF while drinking tons of alcohol and talking valley like. But things take a turn for the worse as their driver starts improv rapping a Jamaican song where even the driver doesn’t know what happened.  Alcohol and heroin feels more tamer than what just happened.

“Safe Guard” commercial sketch had Olivia playing a TikTok-er host catching a criminal on camera who then makes them go viral. Olivia dressed in denim jacket with pink hair.

Then goodbyes include Olivia looking hot in a fainted light violet button crop top with satin hot pants in similar color, but darker hue. Olivia has such a good time being the host and musical guest on “SNL” tonight. Olivia Rodrigo truly used the iconic Studio 8H at NBC’s 30 Rockefeller Center to her advantage not only to show off more of her singing range, but to stretch her acting ability to new levels. Double-duty serves Olivia very well when the golden opportunity arises to promote new albums or other projects.
