Olivia Rodrigo has added another notch of success to her belt as Barcelona Universal declared today that FC Barcelona collaboration was hugely successful. To be exact, 25 million euros, translating to $29 million here stateside was generated by official FC Barcelona/ Olivia Rodrigo branded shirts and merchandise for concert and championship match. FC Barcelona to say the least is extremely happy with how successful this partnership with Olivia turned out to be. All the stars aligned perfectly as Olivia is in the initial stages of the “You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl In Love” era, and FC Barcelona played and won the El Clasico match.


Not only is Olivia and FC Barcelona are extremely pleased with this result, but Spotify especially is delighted. Spotify and FC Barcelona are definitely open to future collabs that will only improve the viable profitability and global awareness of the soccer club. As for Olivia, the excitement that’s building around her with her 3rd album and a completely sold out “The Unraveled Tour” is a sure sign that pop music has a bright future with all the new promo and new monetary vehicles hitting the mark. With double-duty on “SNL”, and “drop dead” landing at Number 1 while also still in top 5 on Billboard Hot 100, Olivia Rodrigo in this phase definitely has more opportunities to leave long-lasting impact on music. Also thanks to a much-breathable era and not crowded like back in 2023 with “Guts”.
