Lauren Conrad sat down with NBC NEWS’s Kate Snow on Tuesday in a YouTube piece called “The Drink With Kate Snow” as Lauren opened up about getting into reality TV and beyond. Sponsored by Hugo Spritzes, Lauren talks about how she joined “Laguna Beach,” the intense scrutiny that came with early fame, and swears she’ll never do, or watch reality TV again. Lauren’s journey in fashion started even before Lauren left “The Hills” behind, it was a learning experience that led to LC Lauren Conrad at Kohl’s launching in 2009.

As Lauren got onto “The Hills”, Lauren never saw it as a permanent gig, Lauren took things year to year before eventually leaving the spotlight for fashion. Lauren for one did not want to be an actress, nor did she want any extension of fame beyond the TV work she was doing. Lauren Conrad is now very happy hanging out with her kids who are now 6 and 8 years old, plus her husband, William Tell, she knew she was interested in settling down with early on.
