LIVE & IN LOVE
Olivia Rodrigo got Barcelona fired up once more tonight as she returned for the Primavera Sound Festival. Olivia indeed performed all her iconic hits from “Guts” and “Sour” which took Olivia through rage, discovery, and heartbreak. The highlight of the night came with Olivia collaborating with Robert Smith of “The Cure” for “What’s Wrong With Me?”. And yes, Olivia performed “Drop Dead”, “The Cure” off Olivia’s third album, “You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love” out this Friday.

“Guts” notables by DPL were apparently “Bad Idea, Right?” and “Ballads Of A Homeschooled Girl” because it fit the concert look Olivia was wearing. Instead of babydoll dress, Olivia this time went something close to “Guts World Tour” era with black and white stripe top, black leather hot pants, fishnet tights, and black half-calf boots. This apparently signaled the next phase of OR3 that’s not just fancy dress up, but the edgy side of love with more daring outfits. Olivia Rodrigo overseas has now become the more liberating place for Olivia to be herself without the restrictions of the U.S. hanging over her head.

Olivia’s Primavera Sound Festival concert tonight came as a surprise as this era of OR3 has every turn and corner defined itself. There’s still 6 days till OR3 album drops, plus “The Unraveled Tour” still due in September. So there’s no shortage of surprises that will not take place till then.
