Taylor Swift got into more detail about creating the lead song for “Toy Story 5” when appearing today on ABC’s “Good Morning, America”. Taylor says she got on the phone with her songwriting partner, Jack Antonoff, frantically saying how we need to write this song for this fifth edition of the Disney-Pixar franchise. Taylor says she got the songwriting zoomies honing in on Jessie, who’s at a place where she knows who she is and how she matters to Bonnie.

Taylor wrote “I Knew It, I Knew You” in just 8 hours which also brought Taylor back to her country roots. Once the song was finished, retired Disney CEO, Bob Iger, got a listen to Taylor’s song before it was made official for the movie soundtrack. “I Knew It, I Knew You” currently is the number 1 song in America on the Billboard Hot 100, and it’s poised to have another week at No.1.
