Clive J. Davis, the most powerful music executive, who discovered Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, and Alicia Keys, has died. It was announced today on Instagram posted by his family. For the last 45 plus years, Clive Davis was the one who shaped the music industry, setting a standard for what we know it as today. The artists Clive saw a true gift in were the ones that influenced other artists of their peers as well as next generations and beyond. It goes beyond finding one who can move a population, but one who can raise the bar in terms of sound, tone, mood, and deep feelings across all music genres.

Clive J. Davis is the reason for the way the music industry evolves while it navigates new challenges and revenue streams constantly redefining the music landscape.
