Olivia Rodrigo finally sat down with Diane Sawyer today on ABC’s “Good Morning, America” to talk about her new album “You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love”. Diane hones in on Olivia about heartbreak, what it involves and how to overcome it. Once heartbreak occurs, Olivia lays out how you can’t see the forest or the trees declaring that you could never love anyone again. But as time passes, as it does with many of us dealing with heartbreak, you finally wake up one day realizing you’re totally happy without that person who broke your heart.

Diane also ask Olivia whether her generation sees love differently due to dating apps, social media, and transparency. Olivia totally agreed that people are more aware about love thanks to such options while also having a wider lens about love. Ultimately deciding whether it’s worth your invested time to take on love at all levels. And despite New York City being the ultimate judge whether we want love or not, Olivia Rodrigo concludes that all generations see and feel love or heartbreak the same way no matter the means, models, or evolving scopes of it.
