Curve New York finally returns today to the Javits Center here in New York City kicking off intimates, swimwear, and activewear heading to the racks of retailers worldwide. Curve NY’s curated space, “Object Of Desire”, once again welcomes a new lineup of brands offering the most intriguing collections telling their own story. It’s one thing to create beautiful apparel relying on the consumer to land in your neck of the woods. But it’s clearly a different story if you put a concrete idea behind what you create. This is the story of Carol Coelho whose intimates brings 2 elements together to create “Celestide”.

“Celestide” combines the surreal experience of celestial with a tidal wave, the movement of how the sky, celestial, being, and ocean belong together. Evidence of the sky-ocean combination are found in one-pieces, bra and panties, and sleepwear which show off blue from the elements with tidal wave design accompanying theme of blue. Blue-green largely complements the waves which pass through a canvas of sky in rich blue. Not only is there lace, there’s also tiny blue rhinestones lined up for impeccable detail without overpowering the piece.

White and black also repeat the celestial process aligning with the stars, being, clouds, and darkness of night. Acting also as solid pieces in their colors, rhinestones dominate this time in gold. Repeating the idea of blue rhinestones where their tiny but powerful impact leaves an impressionable mark. Right from a distance, you will notice how the gold gemstones give white and black an uplift to their already standalone colors.

As a nice added detail for this Fall, Carol Coelho puts sheer and floral emphasis on gowns, teddies, and robes. It’s not floral detail woven into lace or even prints. It’s a mockup of flowers coming to life on sheer which gives the upcoming Fall season strong body entering a season of black. Dark and unraveling floral lace also are beautifully stitched into broken sheer over beige canvas.

Black and green not only fall in line with this Autumn, but now are a color collab you want seen on you. It’s purely evident on 2-pieces or ones in green floral flash as part of the black canvas. Even if you pair the same green onesie with a black onesie, buying them separate also feeds into the love black-green combo.

The inspiration behind Carol Coelho’s Fall 2026 black pieces plus black and green is driven by Ronfizales, a northern part of Barcelona filled with grass and grains. It couldn’t be the more natural setup leading to unforgettable textures and designs.

Also in Carol Coelho’s “Object Of Desire” is her very first swimwear collection which took to the runway of this year’s Miami Swim Week. Strong emphasis is placed on colorful embroidery both in print on white canvas where it’s repeated. But the colorful embroidery is true to itself on sheer one-pieces, shorts where you can have a colorful bikini bottom underneath, and tops applying also with bikini bra top. Swimwear in reverse also in Carol’s first swimwear collection as one side is multicolored while the reverse is one solid color.

Carol’s inspiration for this debut swim collection was found through a Mother Earth shoot done in Peru for a previous season. Carol got inspired to turn this into swimwear after seeing Madeira Island off the coast of Portugal. Carol speaks Portuguese because she’s originally from Brazil which is how Carol knew about the Madeira Island.

This season of Carol Coelho brings out a back to basics approach to find beauty in intimates and swimwear. By all means, this is not a typical basic no frills return in any stretch. There’s nothing ordinary about the sky, ocean, celestial, being, the stars, and the tide. Carol triumphs on taking Earth’s precious gifts and turning them into intimates that enhance a woman’s features to moments one never dreamed of.

Carol’s swimwear debut seeks out heritage and the beauty of Spain for a colorful collection lining up perfectly with mountains and islands. Spain also takes the upcoming Fall of Carol’s intimates right back down to Earth in black and green for a celebrated moment. And through both collections, Carol Coelho keeps the selection simple and easy to identify with. Beautiful Earth is what wins with Carol Coelho this season in all the 10 years has been doing this.
