On its first day here at the Javits Center, New York City’s BDNY 2026 2-day event draws heavy crowds looking to modernize their hospitality brand. Vendors here at BDNY serve up their latest furnishings, fixtures, linens, plus kitchen and bathroom technology to hotels, restaurants, and home representatives responding to the evolving needs of their patrons. Both independent and world-renowned brands keep creating bold and beautiful items on an annual basis in the spirit of holding their patrons, speeding up maintenance, and staying relevant. One brand being truly responsive in both home and hospitality in the bathroom sector in such a bold statement is Kohler.

For all its legendary history of providing beautiful looks for the bathroom and kitchen, Kohler has made tremendous inroads in bath. Kohler makes a statement first for DANIEL PLUS LAUREN with their “Stonebridge” collection as it provides a workable solution to easy maintenance. “Stonebridge” answers the call of mixing marble and resin (crushed stone mixed with resin) that avoids the unsightly maintenance of tile and grout when mildew and moisture get trapped in. DPL feeling the smoothness of “Stonebridge” not only with a traditional stone look, but also found in subway tile, large block, and chevron. The responsive part of “Stonebridge” in large block comes in the shower where you don’t need an “affordable” facelift to achieve this beauty. You could bring the invested monetary quality of marble in bath both house and home to innovate it into a solid item that stays upmarket at all times.

Kohler in the bathroom now makes a statement in its own right with its new toilet innovations. First, Kohler has improved its smart toilet to be more responsive to female needs and flow with new front-wash technology. Then Kohler reveals the toilet “Statement” collection being a dune toilet offering up a smooth and heavy finish not just externally, but also internally. The toilet for the first time out of any toilet in the market aligns itself with the same material as the toilet itself. To say it’s heavy duty would be too modest, but the way the heavy seat eases down on the toilet bowl thanks to the all-around idea earns its place being a “Statement”.

Kohler for one is also home to beautiful bathroom vanities with its well-known marble and its wooden cabinet options. Plus let’s make note of the faucet city DPL instituted in this image above to show off the distinctive finishes Kohler keeps innovating around the needs of hospitality and home. Kohler in all its life is not one where we can say they strive for minimalism as maximal thanks to its look. Kohler has made this concept standard practice before any GEN Z meme or feel made it cool into our home design. There’s only one job we have as designers, subcontractors, hotel managers, home planners, and media like DPL. It’s leaving it all to Kohler to inspire a home build or renovation around the innovations found in their kitchen and bath.
