Go to Amsterdam Today

Lauren Conrad’s Tripping series returned today with a complete guide for you to pack your bags and go to Amsterdam, thanks to blogger, Selena of Find Us Lost.

Selena talks about this late summer/ early fall destination that is Amsterdam which is one of Selena’s favorite places in the world, having charm, coffee sipping overlooking canals, barbecuing in the park, biking in the city, and ice skating in the winter.

Places like The Hoxton Hotel and Dikker & Thijs Fenice Hotel are truly classic places to stay in great landmarks, but Airbnb offers quite the charm at a budget-friendly price.

With so many things out there, you can eat at De Carrousel, drink at Brouwerij ‘t IJ, shop at The 9 Streets, hang out at Vondelpark, or simply take a canal ride, but remember to pack your umbrella and scarf unpredictable weather, and anything floral-print too.

Spring Rolls (It’s Not Chinese Food)

Ordering Chinese food no matter where you get it has one thing in common, it doesn’t change, it’s made the same, and sometimes you have a good meal, and sometimes you don’t.

To that effect, Lauren Conrad’s recipe box today delivers Vietnamese fresh spring rolls made from scratch going good as an appetizer, an hors d’oeuvre with your drink at a party, or just a simple snack.

Vietnamese fresh spring rolls are made with sheets of rice paper, julienned carrots, fresh mint leaves, bean sprout, fresh cilantro, cooked shrimp, and 2 limes.

Peanut sauce is also served with these spring rolls, and all you need is fresh ginger, a garlic clove, creamy all natural peanut butter, reduced sodium soy sauce, fresh lime juice, brown sugar, water, and crushed peanuts.

Finally, you can have an Asian cuisine that doesn’t take like typical Chinese food, but more like a dish before an A-List entree.
