Argentinian Ice Skater turned New York based Fashion Designer, Alex Vinash, announced today that he will showcase his Fall/Winter 2017 collection on February 13, 2017 at 7:30PM, during his unconventional New York Fashion Week Runway Show at HAUS NYC.

This season is full of “exquisite luminosity,” as described by Vinash, of his use of dark colors and metals.

Combined with flower appliqués and hand embroidered birds reminiscent of the 70s, all the while paying homage to the 20s, this fourth collection is both vibrant and elegant.

Vinash will introduce ready-to-wear pieces along with a Men’s collection.

Utilizing the moulage technique, Vinash has a continued desire to create custom-fitted high-fashion couture that emphasizes individualized beauty.

Inspired by his love of culture, combined with his skating career, Vinash remains intricate in his designs, with a focal point on ease of movement and sophistication.

A New Yorker for two years, Vinash has garnered further inspiration for his designs from the city’s architecture and lights.

“My designs centers on the body, how it moves, and most importantly how you feel in them,” said Vinash of his desire to create pieces that promote grace and sensuality.

Vinash collections are full of color and pulsating combinations that are timeless in form and prints; they’ve been described as “dramatic” and “spectacular.”
