Color Over High Definition Any Day
While at UBM’s “Coterie” trade show last Wednesday at the Javits Center up in New York City, Daniel+Lauren got to get a glimpse of what Lauren Conrad’s signature Paper Crown collection was offering up come fall.
At first glimpse, the colors Paper Crown has for fall 2017 are phenomenal, staying the course with the brighter seasonal colors for broader appeal, Lauren Conrad opts for deeper, darker, and richer color schemes.
Standing out is the oversized blazer in olive/ burnt green giving you that last touch of summer before autumn turns green into red, then orange, then yellow, and finally brown (the endgame that is a leaf).
Paper Crown too answers the call of current climate where falls feel more like full-on winters nowadays with heavy-textured blazers in black and white plaid-like designs, and we also have heavy mock turtlenecks in solid gray or white and brown thick horizontal patterns.
Notice too a couple of gray blouses being offered, one is a cropped top like long sleeve with metallic flower designs on the left, the second is ruffled with large sectioned off detailing going down each row as the blouse itself has mesh-like design.
Rounding out the Paper Crown fall 2017 for now are more plaid button-down shirts, maroon and burnt pink color options, dark pink, burnt orange, and a classic faux fur off-white blazer to make them winter moments in fall, as well as winter itself a lot brighter than it is outside.
