Lauren Conrad celebrates the first favorites of 2018

Happy New Year, Day 5

Yes, it’s safe to say that it’s still New Year’s Eve in our hearts, because we started out the week with it being New Year’s Eve on Sunday, and we quite haven’t shaken off the holidays as of yet, yours truly’s still has his head wrapped around “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”, and clips of “It’s A Wonderful Life”.

For the most part, any kid who’s reading this right now might have been blessed with a bonus Christmas vacation because of the blizzard cyclone in the Northeast, and that’s why most things concerning business aren’t back until this coming Monday.

But guess what, Lauren Conrad today is right there with you, because she too is still wound up from the holidays, getting back into the swing of things, being a mother to Liam James Tell, and trying to shake off the ball dropping in Times Square each day, but at least Lauren has the first Friday Favorites of the new year.

Lauren starts out with dry silk ribbon from 100 Layer Cake that’s perfect for a winter wedding, a favorite new little black dress designed with layered ruffles, and a kids party inspired by the theme of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” all filled with gold stars, silver number balloons, Rice Krispie Treats dipped in pink frosting, candy, cake, and juice.

More favorites include comfort food of sausage and potato chowder, and a feel good tune from HAIM with their little single, “Little Of Your Love”, which is a good square dancing video concept as well.

The Edit

Apparently, team Lauren’s still celebrating the arrival of 2018, but they feel a little bit more inspired to shake things up now that it’s a new year, so this week’s picks reflect their new found attitude.

Team LC look to the Paper Crown Elsie Top, Reformation Carina Dress, Smiley Sweatshirt, Kate Spade New York Watson Lane Small Briley Star Cosmetic Case, and Hansel From Basel Hairy Short Crew Sock In Pink.

There’s also the Paper Crown Harriet Skirt, H&M Sheer Mesh Dress, The Little Market Ceremic Mug In White And Gold, “You’re Saying It Wrong” by Ross and Kathryn Petras, and the LC Lauren Conrad Faux-Suede Moto Jacket.
