IMG today announced that iconic Australian brand CAMILLA will return to the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) Resort ‘19 Collections schedule, after two years, to stage a spectacular closing show.
CAMILLA’s show will take place on Thursday 17 May 2018 at the home of MBFWA, Carriageworks in Sydney.
Founded fourteen years ago in Sydney’s Bondi Beach by designer and artist, Camilla Franks, CAMILLA has captured the imagination of the world with its vibrant and bespoke bohemian lifestyle offering.
The CAMILLA wonderland has evolved to include women’s, men’s and children’s fashion, swim, accessories and home collections.
CAMILLA has 19 boutiques throughout Australia, a multi-million dollar online business and over 500 stockists in 56 countries worldwide.
Key retail partners include Selfridges, Harrods, Bergdorf-Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Four Seasons Hotels, Shopbop, Net-a-Porter and REVOLVE.

The 2016 strategic repositioning of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia made it the first centralized event focused exclusively on Resort collections, placing it at the beginning of the global sales window.
As a result, the event has seen a year-on-year uplift in international media and buyer attendance, providing lucrative new opportunities for showcasing designers.
Additionally, CAMILLA will open Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Edition (MBFWE) with the Mercedes-Benz Opening Showcase: CAMILLA on Friday 18 May, allowing consumers to access the unique opportunity of sitting front row and experiencing the runway first-hand as the fashion industry does at MBFWA.
All the action continues on Saturday 19 May with runway shows on the hour, fashion film screenings, exclusive shopping offers in The Stores @ MBFWE, complimentary hair and makeup sessions, access to the MBFWE Style Sessions and exclusive food and cocktails.
