A ‘Scandalous’ Farewell

Darby Stanchfield wore a Maria Lucia Hohan dress to the “Scandal” live stage reading of the series finale to Benefit The Actors Fund on Thursday evening in Los Angeles, California.

ABC’s “Scandal” wrapped its seven-season run Thursday night with an hour-long episode featuring the final showdown between the OPA associates and B613, with several callbacks to poignant moments throughout the show’s run.

Founded in 1882, The Actors Fund serves all professionals, and not just actors, in film, theater, television, music, opera, radio and dance through programs that address our community’s unique and essential needs.

Employment in any division of the performing arts and entertainment industry is unpredictable.

Work is erratic, security is fleeting and health insurance is often just a dream.

For all of these reasons and many more, The Actors Fund is an indispensable and deeply significant part of the entire entertainment community.

As a national organization with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, we directly serve thousands of performing arts and entertainment professionals across the country every year, in person and via our online resources.

Our programs are wide in scope, responsive in nature and produce significant results.

Maria Lucia Hohan has become the starlet’s go-to designer, gracing Hollywood A-listers at major award shows, premieres and red carpet events.

Known for her ethereal, elaborately draped gowns and flirty cocktail dresses, Maria Lucia Hohan’s signature aesthetic lies in her delicate pastel hues and colors on variations of silk textures, sheer mousseline, sand washed satin, creamy velvet and crisp taffeta.

Self-describing her collections as chic but girly, Maria’s pieces are created to enhance the feminine silhouette and make a woman feel radiant and fabulous.
