Jennifer Lopez wore a Hamel dress to celebrate the launch of her new makeup line JLOxINGLOT Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After high school, Jennifer Lopez briefly worked in a law office. During this time, she continued dance classes at night.

At Jennifer, she left home because her mother was scared by her decision to pursue show business.

Her big break came when she was offered a job as a fly girl on Fox’s hit comedy, “In Living Color”.

After a two-year stay at “In Living Color” where actress Rosie Perez served as choreographer, Lopez then went on to dance for famed singer-actress Janet Jackson.

Her first major film was Gregory Nava’s “My Family”, and her career went into over-drive when she portrayed slain Tejana singer Selena Quintanilla Perez in “Selena”.

Melina Harris created the fashion house, Hamel with the intention of developing designs that would project and inspire eternal beauty for women wearing HAMEL.
When this Belgrade based fashion designer began her career, her vision was to bring designs to life that would illuminate the female figure by focusing on the elegance of a woman’s shape and curves.
Comfort was essential.
Melina’s intent to design clothes that she herself could wear and as a frequent traveler, she made fabric selections on behalf of dresses that could be thrown into luggage and easily pulled out and worn to multiple evening events.
