The Way To Go

Lauren Conrad sat down with Fast Company today discussing the mission of The Little Market, where’s its core focus is not only empowering women worldwide, but guaranteeing female artisans a livable income so they can support themselves, and their families.

An enlightening learned from Lauren is that The Little Market guarantees women get paid by Lauren and partner, Hannah Skvarla, pay for materials and salary upfront, so the artisan does not have to pay out of pocket for anything, which otherwise may cut into the artisan’s living wage after expenses.

Lauren also confesses that up until about a week ago, Lauren and Hannah ran The Little Market from Hannah’s guest house, and now that the two are mothers, there’s more of a motivation to appreciate the work that both Lauren and Hannah have done for The Little Market, because most female artisans have children to feed.

The Tuesday Ten

Today, Lauren Conrad got a very early start on July Style Tips, going with the red, white, and cute, palm prints, oversized pieces, natural pieces, two-piece trends in one color, crop top heaven, the best sundresses, flowy textures and patterns, risky swimsuits, and summer stripes.

A Fig Tree In Care

Lauren Conrad once again ruled the land today with a green thumb that’s a fiddle leaf fig tree, with step by step instructions of proper amounts of water, the right amount of light, mix and pot, wind awareness, a strong display, and being fresh.
