Carry On

In life, we carry on with things or about things, but we refuse to march along with a 16 degree day here at New York City’s Javits Center where the second day of the UBM Men’s Trade Show is taking place, we go to the Mrket end of things today where Daniel plus Lauren comes across the family tradition of Remy Leather.

A third generation family business that is 48 years old, Remy Leather is a domestic leather jacket manufacturer that’s based out of Los Angeles, California, where its speciality is using high-end Italian lamb skins.

Remy Leather’s main attraction so far has been unique specialty skins having jackets in smooth skin textures, or leather jackets that are not only smooth, but are dyed in a blend of blue and brown, and are laser cut vertically where evidence of lines are found on the lamb skin leather jacket, the colors truly come out of this jacket as you brush the jacket down along the lines of laser marks.

Remy Leather has begun to expand its cloth line going into wool cashmere blends, which has worked very well so far, there’s a handful of jackets already made in wool cashmere which are nice to handle on your fingers, and are very stylish to say the least when wearing on subzero days like today.

Remy Leather carries on strong with its collection of leather jackets that have been made for a long time, it’s third generation ensures that it continues on for generations beyond now.
