Express It Or Step Off The Floor

Equinox once again took its ubiquitous lifestyle brand of living outside the gym today, and off to The High Line Hotel here in New York City’s lower Manhattan to go all out for Pride Month with a Masters Of Vogue class, teaming up with the #Houselivesmatter campaign that raises awareness of community, organizing, direct action, mentorship, and human rights that impact the LGBTQ community, so Equinox recruited masters of the ballroom with vogue dance, including choreographer, Jack Mizhari, and stars of Equinox’s new film campaign, “Life’s A Ball”.

Along with Jack Mizhari, Vogue masters who are Veronica Miyake Mugler, Chyna Prodigy, Asia Balenciaga, Tamiyah Miyake Mugler, Sinia Alaia, Leiomy Maldonado, and Tati Finesse were all there to teach their own Vogue dances to a crowd filled ballroom showing off their best head and body moves, spreading nothing but love, fun, and pride on a nice Saturday morning into afternoon.

At one point, the entire ballroom Vogue class turned into a “Soul Train” line, where everybody went across the room doing catwalks, duck walks, and such, all inspired by Rihanna and Beyoncé, as these Masters Of Vogue have been blessed with the opportunity to work with.

House Lives Matter (HLM) is the only organization for and by the House Ballroom Community and for every post in the month of June using #PoweredByPride or a Life’s a Ball GIPHY sticker, Equinox will donate $1 to them (up to $20,000).

And 100 percent of ticket sales sold to the Masters of Vogue event will benefit House Lives Matter.
