Informa passed along vital information today to any small businesses who’ve suffered devastating affects from COVID19, it’s found the Paycheck Protection Program, which is part of the $2 Trillion Stimulus Package called the C.A.R.E.S. Act (Coronavirus Aid Relief Economic Security) passed by Congress and signed by President Donald Trump last week.
The PPP authorizes up to $349 billion in forgivable loans to small businesses to pay their employees during COVID19, it covers all overhead of a small business, including employees for 8 weeks, each employee at a $100,000 cap, and loan pays are deferred for 6 months.
Small businesses and sole proprietors can start applying today for loans while independent contractors and self-employed individuals can start applying on April 10 at the Small Business Association government website, both profit and nonprofit businesses are able to apply.
