COVID19 Adjustment

SOURCING at MAGIC, a trade show brand of Fashion Frameworks held another webinar today as brands and retailers adjust to the new normal of COVID19, this time taking a look at “The Future Of Creativity”.

The forecast for the summer fashion season underway will be lots of bright colors, customer bases needing a dose of positivity and optimism since being forced to stay-at-home under COVID19, and doing nothing but buying summer items in spite of comforts dominating right now in fashion since everyone’s home, and eager to get back out again.

Even though unemployment is at 42 million as of today, leading to uncertain times about money and the future, consumers truly want the true retail experience back even as many brands and retailers pivot to virtual and go seasonless, there’s also a cry for trade shows to make a comeback.

No matter the comfort, the return of dresses at some point, and face masks becoming a fashion statement, as well as whatever climate our world is in right now, it all comes down to color, color will bring out the customer base, color will make a sale, and color will draw you in time and again.
