Education Is Key
Lauren Conrad and her team took one step to addressing racism today by the gift of education, finding a wealth of books devoted to undressing racism, as well as presenting an anti-racist view on the prejudices of skin color.
Sometimes, it can be uncomfortable to talk about one’s nationality because there’s deep wounds that remain hurtful amongst people, whether it has to do with how they were treated, persecuted, oppressed, or excluded, Lauren’s book list provides ways to understand where the hurt comes from.
Lauren and her staff in the coming weeks will continue to share resources and uplift voices that need to be heard in order to educate you about racism in this country, also look to Lauren’s resources from #blackouttuesday for more.
