Greatness Continues

Hard hats, jackhammers, digging, and heavy lifting each steel beam went back in style today as Javits Center resumed its convention center expansion for the first time as New York State enters the first phase of reopening, and since COVID19 put New York City to sleep.

When done, the Javits Center and its unprecedented expansion, which will add 1.2 million square feet of event-related space to this iconic venue. From new state-of-the-art meeting room spaces to a rooftop pavilion overlooking the Hudson River, we’re redefining the way people share ideas, unveil innovations and celebrate their work, doors will open in 2021.

The Javits Center has had an amazing life, it’s life got even more amazing when the Javits Center was converted into a COVID19 hospital when New York State and New York City was the epicenter of the pandemic, thankfully not having to utilize it much in the end.

For Daniel plus Lauren, the Javits Center has been home for Fashion Frameworks trade shows over the past 8 years (4 years Examiner, 4 years Daniel plus Lauren), and it will once again be home to those trade shows this September, when women’s and men’s shows are combined.
