Attacking The Source

New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, had a change of plans for the Javits Center today in his daily briefing, stating that the convention space will only house COVID19 patients, as New York State, which now has more than 100,000 patients testing positive for COVID19, and New York has more than 3,000 deaths from the disease.

Governor Cuomo’s original plan was to house both COVID19 and non-COVID19 patients at the Javits Center back when the space was picked to be the site of a temporary hospital on March 23, Gov. Cuomo came to this conclusion as factors like crime being down, and more people are staying at home due to stay-at-home orders, leading to regular hospitals having less people to treat for non-COVID19 concerns.
