The United States Department Of Labor today reported another week of high claims in unemployment, a still staggering 870,000 filed for benefits after losing their job because of COVID19, 4,000 more from last week.

Though more filed claims, insured unemployment rate was 0.1 percent lower this week at 8.6 percent, with the actual figure of those on insured unemployment at 12,580,000, 167,000 less than last week as more businesses move along up the reopening phase.
