
The United States Department Of Labor today reported what’s so far a new 2021 low for unemployment claims during the COVID19 pandemic, 730,000 are still losing work, but it’s 111,000 less that last week’s 861,000 which was revised down 20,000 to 841,000.
The insured unemployment rate also saw a drop of 0.1 percent as it now stands at 3.1 percent without revision, and the actual number of those on insured employment fell 101,000 to 4,419,000 from last week’s 4,520,000 which revised up 26,000 from 4,494,000.
