The United States Department Of Labor today reported another upswing in unemployment claims as last week’s 793,000 not only was revised up dramatically by 55,000 to 848,000, but rose up 13,000 more this week to 861,000 now without a job thanks to this global COVID19 pandemic.

Oddly, the nation’s insured unemployment rate stayed unchanged at 3.2 percent and also undecided from previous week, and those also on insured unemployment continued what appears to be nearly a 3 month decrease with insured persons down by 64,000 to 4,494,000, but last week’s 4,545,000 revised up by 13,000 as well to 4,558,000 due also to unemployment benefits expiring.
